Timap for Justice is recruiting a cadre of lawyers to assist in the organization’s litigation efforts. While Timap’s frontline consists of community-based paralegals, the Directors strategically engage in litigation and high-level advocacy in cases of severe injustice and possibility for legal impact. The new Litigation Corps will establish a group of Timap-affiliated lawyers to litigate such cases on a semi-voluntary basis. By maintaining the capacity to litigate, Timap strengthens the mediation and advocacy work of its paralegals throughout Sierra Leone.
The Litigation Corps will consist of lawyers qualified to practice in Sierra Leone. For more information, please download this flyer about the Timap Litigation Corps.
